DELIVERING MAJOR UPGRADES FOR LINEAR PARK
Families and fitness lovers in Adelaide’s east will soon benefit from upgrades to Linear Park, with a $1.875 million investment from a re-elected Albanese Labor Government.
Labor’s Candidate for Sturt, Claire Clutterham, announced the election commitment will go towards upgraded playgrounds, the installation of a new outdoor fitness station, and improved lighting along the park corridor to boost accessibility and safety in the popular open space between O.G. Road and Darley Road.
The upgrades will include:
Refurbishment of existing playgrounds to modern safety and accessibility standards;
A new outdoor fitness station to support active lifestyles; and
Installation of energy-efficient lighting between O.G. Road and Darley Road.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
