UPGRADING STEVE WOODCOCK SPORTS CENTRE
A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will invest $3 million in upgrades to the Steve Woodcock Sports Centre, home to the Campbelltown City Soccer and Social Club.
This election commitment will see the construction of a new synthetic pitch and upgrades to lighting for multiple pitches at the centre.
The club currently supports hundreds of players, both junior and senior, and continues to grow.
The new synthetic pitch will ensure the club can continue to support a program for senior women, as well as expand its junior offering.
The lighting upgrades will allow the club to improve its ability to host night games and train in a safe environment
This election commitment shows that Labor will back local sporting clubs to continue growing and succeeding.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
